Inspired by our peaceful “寧 yasushi or yasuragi" location a stone’s throw from the centre of the village, and the kindly “優し yasashii” welcome villagers extends to all visitors, Yasushi combines peacefully serene surroundings with a warm welcome we hope will have all our guests hoping to return soon.
A spacious modern, luxury kakure-yado hidden inn; with Kakegenashi onsen fed from the Shinyu spring, exclusively “kashikiri” for private use! An excellent breakfast is included, as well as all-day complimentary tea and coffee, and afternoon pastries. The staff will valet park your car.
Our twenty rooms were designed to enhance your privacy and tranquility. Each room has its own ensuite facilities and combines the best of Japanese tradition and design sensibilities, with due consideration to contemporary creature comforts and modern amenities.
We can also cater to families and groups of friends traveling together. We have suites with two bedrooms and an Annexe lodge that can accommodate a party of up to 11 in four bedrooms and one tatami room.
Our Annexe lodge is ideal for groups of friends and family who would like to stay close together. Connected to the main building by an underground passage, the Annexe comprises four bedrooms with ensuite facilities, and one tatami room (which can be used as a bedroom with ensuite facilities, or a chill-out space when you come back from an exciting day out).
If you’d like the option of dining within the lodge, the Annexe boasts a private dine-in kitchen. This is available for booking to guests who have exclusive use of the Annexe lodge.

Himecho@Yasushi is located at the foot of the Yu Road moving walkway with direct access to the Hikage ski area. It is in Ogama, the spiritual heart of the village. A historic machiya-style house, Himecho is one of the oldest and most unique property in Nozawaonsen.
It can accommodate families or groups of up to 10 persons comfortably in five guest rooms with ensuite facilities.
Should you not require the use of all five bedrooms, one of the flexible tatami rooms could serve as an additional family room, lounge or study too.
Our live-in staff will prepare your daily breakfast, afternoon tea, and oversee all housekeeping at Himecho. You have your personal service team. Should you need any help with tours, reservations or other services, they will be there to assist you.
