The following services are available by prior arrangement. We will advise you of any relevant additional charges at the time of booking.

Breakfast

Fuel-up with our delicious buffet breakfast with an enticing range of international and local offerings.

Dining In

Residence Yasushi does not offer a half or full board service as there are some fabulous restaurants and cafes near us. We would encourage you to discover all the wonderful local produce and culinary talent a stone’s throw from us.

While there are some fabulous Japanese restaurants in the village, we know that we all hanker after the familiar too. You will find some wonderful pizza and other Mediterranean inspired comforts, created by our partners at Gochisou using the freshest local ingredients. You should also check out the delicious cocktails at the bar. Gochisou is located in our Annexe and accessible to Residence Yasushi guests within the hotel. No need to drag your boots and jacket on!!

Alternatively, you might want to have a private celebration for a special occasion. With prior arrangement, we would be delighted to host a guest chef for you and your party. Please ask us about the options - these can range from some truly excellent sushi or a gourmet dinner accompanied by fine wines or sake for a private celebration. We would recommend booking early.

You’ll have a plethora of dining options. If you are wondering where you should start, here are a few of our favourites in the village to get you started. Remember too that for a simple evening in, we would also be delighted to help organise deliveries from your favourite restaurants in Nozawaonsen.

From the moment your reservation is confirmed, our concierge is at your service. Feel free to ask us for help.

Luggage transfer

From any hotel or the airports in Japan, you may send your luggage by “takkyubin” (express courier) from the airport direct to your accommodation. These will normally arrive 24 to 36 hours later so all you will need to carry with you is an overnight bag. It saves lugging suitcases and ski/board bags around and if you are taking the train, saves a lot of grief as luggage compartment space is scarce.

At the airports, simply ask at the Information Counter for directions to the Takkyubin Service counter. At your hotel, as your reception or concierge to book the service for you.

We can send your luggage by Takkyubin to your next stop after Residence Yasushi - hotel, private address or airport.

Meet and Greet

We can arrange for an English speaking host to meet you on arrival in Tokyo to help arrange for luggage transfers and guide you to your train. For those unfamiliar with Japan, you can then easily avail yourself of all the existing travel conveniences like luggage transfers and reserved train seats without worrying about the language gap.

Winter Activities

Ski Guide and Lessons
At Nozawaonsen, our Ski School has international ski guides and organised group lessons to suit all levels of proficiency but it is important to book early. You can book directly online or ask us to help you. We can of course also arrange for private ski tours and other winter activities. See below for some ideas of what awaits you.

Fabulous mountain adventures await those who come in the green season. Not yet as frenetic as the winter season, our summer activities will leave you spoilt for choice. Enjoy everything from hiking to mountain biking, paddle boarding to kayaking, zip-lines and summer skiing. Please ask us for ideas and help with bookings.
